Parameters

Parameters are configured under the Parameters view of a node. Available Parameters depend on the traits of the node. For Reports and Tasks, the parameters are the same as if they would have been executed under the Reports or Tasks sections of the OmniFi Web portal. A Parameter may accept Value, Variable or Expression input.

Output

Output is configured under the Output view of a node. In order to pass information from a node, the output value must be exported into a variable. This is done by toggling the Export check-box and subsequently connecting a variable to the field by choosing it from the drop-down list. The variable chosen must be of the same data type as the output field. Hence, only variables of a field's data type are available in the drop-down list. It is also possible to create a new variable directly from the Output window by pressing the "Create variable" button.

Example of a simple Workflow where the Output window of node "Execute Report" is shown. By pressing the "Create variable" button, a variable will be created that inherits the Output field's name and data type.
